Dr. Gasper

Dr. Christina Gasper is a specialist in Periodontics and Implant Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She has extensive training in periodontal therapy, cosmetic surgery, pre-prosthetic surgery and dental implant therapy.

Dr. Gasper received her Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). After graduation, she pursued her interest in research at UCLA and published articles in Oncogene and in Proceedings of American Association for Cancer Research. Dr. Gasper earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from New York University (NYU). During her dental training, she received multiple university scholarships and numerous awards for being the top student in her clinic.

After completion of her dental training, Dr. Gasper finished one year of General Practice Residency where she worked exclusively with medically compromised patients, performed hospital dentistry as well as general and conscious sedation. She was accepted to one of the top universities in the country, which was the program of her choice, and completed a 3-year post doctoral specialty training in Periodontology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). During her post-doctoral training, she also obtained her Masters of Science in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences at UCSF and received her conscious sedation certificate. She became a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology shortly after graduation.

While in private practice, Dr. Gasper formed and led a Spear Study Club. She invited her colleagues to join her in discussing clinical cases and novel treatment approaches which, in turn, led to improved and well-coordinated patient care.

Currently, Dr. Gasper is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, San Francisco Dental Society, California Dental Association, California Society of Periodontists and Spear Education.

Dr. Gasper believes in consistent, open and honest communication with her referrals, fellow colleagues and her clients in order to provide comprehensive patient care through team approach. She combines the latest treatment ideas with extensive knowledge and experience to ensure quality patient care.

When not at work, Dr. Gasper enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her family.
